The Try It On-Online app
The Try It On-Online app is the only free, mobile shopping app that helps you shop for a size that will be a good fit, a style that complements your body shape, and you can see how the outfit looks on you.
With a variety of stores resident on the app: Department stores, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Nordstrom; Specialty Stores, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Betsey Johnson; Designer Stores, Ralph Lauren, BCBG, Ella Moss, LaCoste, Henri Bendel; and Online stores, ASOS, Hautelook, BlueFly–there’s a store to meet the needs of every shopper. No more closing out of one store’s app and opening another. Just select the store’s name on the Try It On-Online Your Mall screen and “Go shopping…with your very own personal shopper SM “at 44 stores.
Your Account
You can create an account with TryItOn-Online, or you can log in with your Twitter or Facebook account. Once you are logged in, the app prompts you to select Your Body Shape, Enter Your Measurements; and Take Your Photo–a selfie, or upload a picture already on your iPhone. Press “Shop” and the Your Mall screen appears where you can scroll through the alphabetized list of stores and make a selection.
Your Shopping Experience
Select your store and the app takes you to the retailer’s website where you can search sale merchandise, new arrivals, or your favorite designer. When you find a garment that you like, tap the item with your finger and it displays as the only garment on the screen. Long press on your picture in the top bar and your face appears overs the model’s just as if you were in the store holding a dress up under your chin and looking at it in the mirror. The size and position of your face can be adjusted so it fits over the model’s. You can share this new look with your friends on social media before making the final purchase.
Once you place your face on the clothing item, it is automatically saved to Your Dressing Room. If you prefer, the “heart” icon can also be used to save clothes to your dressing room. Use the heart icon to save accessories–jewelry, belts, scarves, shoes–that compliment your new outfit. You can save items from 44 stores in Your Dressing Room where you access them at any time, day or night, from any location.
Once you have saved the item in Your Dressing Room, a “garment-tag” icon appears in the lower right corner. Pressing the garment tag accesses your personal shopper’s recommendation about the style you have selected for yourself. If she thinks your selection is a good look for your body shape, the phrase, “Looks Good!” will appear, but if she does not think your selected style is a good look for your body shape, you will see the phrase, “Cute, but let’s keep looking.”
The words “Your Suggested Sizes,” appears on this same screen, and when you tap that line of type, your personal shopper will recommend sizes for tops, jackets, sweaters, skirts, pants, dresses, and outerwear based on the measurements you have entered. In addition to your personal shopper’s size recommendations, the store’s name along with a link to their website appears at the top of this screen with a brief description of the item your have selected. Close out of this screen, press “View Online” and your Personal Shopper takes you back to the retailer’s website where you can enter her recommended size for you and make your purchase. All credit card transactions and shipping are handled by the store: Try It On-Online, Inc. does not have access to, nor do we store any credit card information.
